The Consumer Reference Group was established to provide a client perspective and assist BreastScreen WA to evaluate and review promotional resources and strategies. Members represent a broad cross section of professionals and consumers who advocate for rural women, health services, women’s health, breast cancer support services and groups with special needs. Indigenous Women’s Reference Group |

Facilitated by the Indigenous Program Officer at BreastScreen WA, the Indigenous Women’s Reference Group provides BreastScreen WA with direction and support from the Indigenous communities. BreastScreen WA invites each regional community in the state to nominate one representative. The group meets quarterly face-to-face or via teleconference. GP Advisory Group |

The GP Advisory Group was established to advise on strategies for working with GPs to promote the BreastScreen WA Program. The GP Liaison Officer chairs the GP Advisory Group, which has input from all major GP bodies. All major representative groups are invited to join such as the Divisions of General Practice, Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Rural Doctors.
