Do I need to be vaccinated to be screened?
No, however you will be asked details about your COVID vaccine history, as this may be relevant clinical history for the specialist radiologist interpreting your screening examination.
Will I need to wear a mask?
Yes, surgical masks will be supplied if needed.
Can I wear a cloth mask?
No, the Heath Department requires all people attending our clinics to wear a surgical or N95 mask.
What if I have a better mask on such as a N95?
You will be allowed to continue to wear that mask in preference to the surgical mask.
If I bring a support person what are the requirements for them?
You may bring a support person with you, as long as they are also wearing a surgical or N95 mask.
I have an exemption for wearing a mask, can I still attend?
You will be required to provide proof of your exemption when you attend the clinic for your appointment.
Can I still be screened if I was recently vaccinated?
Yes, it is still safe and important to be screened.
