Business as usual in extraordinary times

Business as usual in extraordinary times

We are aware many BreastScreen WA clients are asking questions about our service and Coronavirus (COVID-19).

BreastScreen WA would like to reassure our clients that we continue to operate as business as usual in providing screening mammograms to all WA women 40 years and over.

We want to reassure clients that we continue to perform our strict hand hygiene practises and equipment cleaning between each client. We have always followed these guidelines and will continue to do so.

The Prime Minister has announced that all people returning from international travel must self-isolate for 14 days after the date of return to Australia. So we do ask our clients that may have returned from international travel and have an appointment already booked to please ring to re-schedule (phone 13 20 50). Also if any clients are feeling unwell please ring to re-schedule your appointment. This is to look after the health of clients and our staff so we can continue to offer our service.

Thank you, and we wish all our existing and future clients health and to take care in these extraordinary times.
