Pink Ribbon Breakfast 2022 a "wonderful event"

This year's Pink Ribbon Breakfast was another successful event. Attendees were impressed with the guest speakers who shared their unique perspectives and life stories. Jane Armstrong gave an educational and eye-opening perspective into the reality of health outcomes amongst the LGBTQIA+ community and how it differs greatly from the mainstream. They also talked about the Screening Saves Lives campaign, and the importance of collaboration between the three National Screening Programs and community groups to ensure content is appropriate and relevant for the LGBTQIA+ community. The Hon Ayor Makur Chuot shared her incredible and inspiring life story of hope, sisterhood, and community on her journey from a refugee in South Sudan, to a politician in Australia. Many commented on how inspiring her story was and that she was a "powerful woman". Well done to everyone involved that made this year's breakfast a success.
