    BreastScreen WA runs and walks for women's cancer 11 May 2026 BreastScreen WA staff had a wonderful time supporting breast and ovarian cancer research at the Mother's Day Classic over the weekend. Staff either ran 10km or 5km, or walked 5km across the beautiful course, starting from Charles Paterson Park, crossing Boorloo Bridge, continuing along the foreshore before crossing Matagarup Bridge and back to the start point, all with stunning views of the Swan River. The team included Women and Newborn Health Service Executive Director, radiologists, radiographers, and administrative, IT and Health Promotion staff and their families. So far, the team has raised over $2360 towards this important cause. Well done all!

  • BSWA Christmas and New Year 2020 closures 23 November 2020 Office and clinic closing dates The BSWA mobile units finish screening on Friday 18 December 2020. The last screening day for fixed clinics is Wednesday 23 December 2020. All clinics re-open on Monday 4 January 2021. Call centre hours The call centre is only closed on the public holidays. The call centre is open for bookings with reduced hours on Thursday 24 December (8am to 4pm), then from 9am to 4pm Tuesday 29 – 31 December 2020. Back to usual operating hours 8am to 5pm from Monday 4 January 2021. Our website is open for online bookings all year round! Bookhere.
  • Two new breast cancer clinics to provide better access and care 07 October 2020 Media statement - Wednesday 7 October 2020 Health Minister Roger Cook today announced two new breast cancer clinics to help thousands of women in Western Australia. A permanent BreastScreen WA clinic is set to open in Albany, as well as a new screening and assessment centre in Perth's northern suburbs.     BreastScreen WA resumes full service 07 May 2020 All of BreastScreen WA permanent clinics located at: Bunbury Cannington Cockburn Mandurah Midland Mirrabooka Perth City (Murray Street and David Jones Rose Clinic) Wanneroo Padbury Rockingham are now open. One of our mobile screening units is based in Armadale at Haynes Shopping Centre, Cnr Eighth Ave & Armadale Rd and is also open now through to 29 May. BreastScreen WA’s other mobile screening units are scheduled to resume country screening in June 2020.
