Yesterday BreastScreen WA hosted its 21st Pink Ribbon Breakfast held annually during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to celebrate the achievements of the service and hear stories from inspirational women.
Nearly 140 guests attended including Meredith Hammat MLA Minister for Heath, Mr Robert Toms, Chief Executive North Metropolitan Health Service, and Mr Jeffrey Williams Executive Director, Women and Newborn Health Service.
Guests enjoyed inspiring speeches from Creative Director Perth Symphony Orchestra, Fiona Campbell OAM, WA Australian of the Year and head of mental health and addiction services at Fiona Stanley Hospital Dr Daniela Vecchio, and breast cancer survivor and advocate Petrina Burnett.
Thank you to all the guests who attended and continue to support the program.
