Team BreastScreen WA at Mother's Day Classic

BreastScreen WA staff had a wonderful time supporting breast and ovarian cancer research at the Mother's Day Classic yesterday! Staff either ran 10km or 5km, or walked 5km across the beautiful course, starting from Victoria Gardens, crossing Matagarup Bridge, along the Burswood foreshore and then Claisebrook Cove, all with stunning views of the Swan River. The team of 22 included BreastScreen WA's own Director Dr Emmeline Lee, radiologists, radiographers, and administrative, IT and Health Promotion staff and their families. Thank you also to Dr Julia Feutrill who took part sporting BreastScreen WA’s pink t-shirt.
The team enjoyed a well-deserved brunch together after all their efforts. The team has raised over $2600 towards this important cause. Well done all!
